L. Jeffrey Andrews
L. Jeffrey Andrews earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in 2012, then promptly moved to New Orleans, where she works as a full-time studio artist. Jeffrey has been primarily working with watercolor for over five years, because she believes the medium moves in ways that make the painting process feel collaborative and untamed. In her work, she aims to capture the presence and quality of the subject matter, exploring ways to communicate experience beyond appearances. Jeffrey paints from life, photographs, and imagination. When she isn't painting, you can find her selling art at Jackson Square or teaching watercolor at the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts.
