Paper Monuments' History Unbound

Paper Monuments' History Unbound

We are very excited for our next event, History Unbound, at the New Orleans Public Library on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 2-4pm! This event will be a chance for you to stop in, learn some fascinating New Orleans history, and help us answer our overarching question: What is an appropriate monument to the city of New Orleans today?

We'll be collecting our Public Proposal forms, and will have some modeling supplies if you would like to build a prototype monument to our city!

Our wonderful partners at the New Orleans Public Library are giving us access to Ellis Marsalis' personal record collection for the afternoon, and there will be curated access to the collections of the African American Resource Center and all the library has to offer.

We'll be featuring the young scholars of Homer Plessy Elementary, participants in Big Class' fantastic writing programs.

And there will be food!

Hope to see you all there, and we're excited to see your ideas!
