A Paper Monuments' Mardi Gras
We hope everyone had a fantastic Mardi Gras season, and is having a restful recovery! Paper Monuments team members and volunteers spent time out at parades distributing the first edition of our newspaper, the Paper Trail. The newspaper has general information about our process and work, as well as features on our posters and events. It was great to spread the word in such a happy atmosphere! Team member John Ludlam used the newspaper to make his Mardi Gras Day costume, accompanying his Paper Trail suit with, of course, a paper tail. *collective pun groan*
All in all, we were out at Tit Rex, Barkus, Nyx, Muses, Bosom Buddies, and Zulu on Mardi Gras Day, where the sun was shining despite a cloudy forecast! Thanks again to all of our awesome volunteers, and see y'all soon!
