Paper Monuments combines public education and collaborative design to expand our collective understanding of New Orleans.
Rachel Cockrill is originally from Brooklyn, NY and holds a degree in History from Clark University. She lives in New Orleans and is currently a development associate and researcher at the Preservation Resource Center, and also performs improv and sketch comedy. In her artwork, Rachel uses ink and watercolor to draw figures, graphic designs, and natural landscapes. Rachel is focused on continuing a career in the history field that merges history with social and racial justice work. She is honored to be a founding member of the New Orleans Arts and Culture Coalition.
